Basketball Game Preview: Joseph Eagles vs. Weston-McEwen TigerScots

The Joseph Eagles will challenge the Weston-McEwen TigerScots at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Joseph has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 3-1 during that stretch of close contests.

Last Friday, Joseph slipped by Elgin 56-55. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one point.

Meanwhile, Weston-McEwen hadn't done well against Grant Union recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Weston-McEwen secured a 73-67 W over Grant Union.

Joseph pushed their record up to 4-10 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one points across that stretch. As for Weston-McEwen, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Joseph might still be hurting after the 72-46 defeat they got from Weston-McEwen in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Joseph avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
