Softball Recap: Newton Falls Short of Passaic Valley in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Newton can now relate to. They came up short against the Passaic Valley Hornets on Wednesday, falling 14-1. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Braves couldn't push the score so high this time.

Newton now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Passaic Valley, their win bumped their record up to 22-3.
