Basketball Recap: Baraboo Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Baraboo duked it out withSauk Prairie on Monday. The Baraboo Thunderbirds took a 54-35 bruising from the Sauk Prairie Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 394th, while the Eagles are ranked 193rd).

Baraboo is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11. As for Sauk Prairie, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.

Baraboo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-43 loss against Poynette on the 14th. Sauk Prairie has also already played their next game (against Milton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
