Volleyball Recap: Sandwich Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sandwich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Plano Reapers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Reapers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss back in August.

Sandwich started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-20, 25-13.

Sandwich's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Plano, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.

Sandwich has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Earlville on the 25th. As for Plano, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Morris on the 25th.
