Soccer Recap: Fort Wayne Wayne Takes a Loss

After flying high against Oak Farm Montessori on Wednesday, Fort Wayne Wayne came back down to earth. The Generals lost 4-0 to the Lakewood Park Christian Panthers on Thursday. Fort Wayne Wayne were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lakewood Park Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Fort Wayne Wayne has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7-2 record this season. As for Lakewood Park Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Fort Wayne Wayne will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fort Wayne South Side at 7:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Lakewood Park Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Fort Wayne Canterbury on the 22nd.
