 Rogers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-3  win over the Mt. Pleasant Kilties. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rogers also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2023.
  Conor Donahue made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 15 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits (and not a single walk). Donahue was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
 Donahue wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Cole Marley, who  went 1-for-2 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Rogers' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Mt. Pleasant, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5.
 Rogers will be playing in front of their home fans against Tolman at 11:00  a.m.  on Thursday. Tolman's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4  runs per game  this season, so Rogers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will head out on the road to  square off against  North Smithfield at 11:00  a.m.  on Thursday. The last six games Mt. Pleasant has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
