Soccer Recap: King William Comes Up Short

King William managed to keep up with Mathews until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cavaliers came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 5-0. King William have struggled against Mathews recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

King William's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Mathews, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2-1.

Looking ahead, King William will be playing at home against West Point at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. West Point will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something King William surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mathews, they will venture away from home to square off against King & Queen Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
