Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop McGuinness). Everything went their way against the Harrah Panthers on Thursday as they made off with a 13-0 win. The Fighting Irish not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 24, 2024.

Not much got past Brian Morales, who gave up just a hit to keep Harrah off the board.

On the hitting side, Bishop McGuinness let Rocky Joyce and Joseph Yost run wild. Joyce scored two runs while going 1-for-1, while Yost went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. What's more, Joyce posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryan Mercer, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Bishop McGuinness always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bishop McGuinness' victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Harrah, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-9.

Bishop McGuinness has already played their next contest, a 10-4 defeat against Norman on the 11th. As for Harrah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Elgin on the 11th.
