Baseball Recap: Hermitage Comes Up Short

Hermitage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bradley Bears. That's two games in a row now that the Hermits have lost by exactly three runs.

Hermitage's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Bradley, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hermitage will square off against rival Taylor at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bradley is set to challenge their familiar foe Columbia Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
