Soccer Recap: Agoura Comes Up Short

Agoura was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Calabasas Coyotes. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 578th, while the Coyotes are ranked 284th).

Agoura's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-2. As for Calabasas, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Agoura will face off against Newbury Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Calabasas, they will take on Westlake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
