Soccer Game Preview: Oxford vs. Davison

The Oxford Wildcats will face off against the Davison Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oxford will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Oxford is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Carman-Ainsworth get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Wednesday. Oxford's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last six matches.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Davison duked it out with Grand Blanc on Thursday. The Cardinals skirted past the Bobcats 1-0. Davison haven't had any issues with Grand Blanc recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Davison's victory bumped their record up to 5-9-3. As for Oxford, their win bumped their record up to 10-2-3.

Everything went Oxford's way against Davison in their previous meeting back in March, as Oxford made off with a 4-0 victory. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
