Soccer Recap: Hilliard Comes Up Short

Hilliard lost against Fernandina Beach back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hilliard Red Flashes lost 8-0 to the Fernandina Beach Pirates. That's two games in a row now that the Red Flashes have lost by exactly eight goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Hilliard and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Fernandina Beach, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2-1.

Hilliard wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Christ's Church Academy on the 13th. As for Fernandina Beach, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 loss against Tocoi Creek on the 16th.
