After flying high against Families Instructing Students HomeSchool on Friday, Sarasota Christian came back down to earth. The Blazers lost 3-0 to the North Tampa Christian Academy Titans on Tuesday. The Blazers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-16.

Several Blazers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eli Ford, who had 14 digs. Wyatt Campbell was another key player, getting 12 digs and three assists.

Leading North Tampa Christian Academy to victory were Ashton Vancura and Alejandro Monserrate. Vancura had 14 digs and three aces, while Monserrate had 19 assists and nine digs. That's the most digs Monserrate has posted over his last four contests.

Sarasota Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for North Tampa Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Sarasota Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Foundation Christian Academy on the 17th. As for North Tampa Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Sports Leadership & Management on the 16th.
