Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Tigers vs. Crockett Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Trinity will face off against Crockett. The Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Trinity is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Crockett by a score of 11-8 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Hunter Ogden made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Ogden was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Christian Vaughn, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Canyen Hollis, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Crockett is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11. As for Trinity, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-17.
