Volleyball Recap: Olentangy Liberty Comes Up Short

The Olentangy Liberty Patriots came up short against the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs on Saturday and fell 2-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Patriots were not able to get on the board.

Zac Jackman paced Olentangy Liberty's offense, picking up ten kills. Jackman got some help from Tyler Ozbun and his 23 assists. Rohil Paruchuri controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Luke Hoskinson was the offensive standout of the match as he had ten digs and three assists. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Olentangy Liberty and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Olentangy Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Olentangy Berlin on the 22nd. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against St. Xavier on the 22nd.
