Brailey Hoagland was a one-woman wrecking crew for Fountain Central as she posted 12 points and five steals. Hoagland has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Hannah Prickett, who went 5 for 8 on her way to 11 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Faith Christian came up short against Tri-County last Thursday, falling 69-43. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 89th).
Fountain Central will have to contain Mattea Maggio as she made an impact in Faith Christian's last game. She had 23 points. Johanna Haste was another key player, putting up six points.
