Volleyball Recap: Lapwai Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lapwai lost against Troy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Trojans, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 25-6.

Despite the defeat, Lapwai saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kelly Cirame had 21 digs. Cirame has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Lapwai's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Troy, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-3.

Lapwai didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Kamiah on the 14th. As for Troy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Potlatch on the 14th.
