Volleyball Recap: Providence Day Chargers vs. Charlotte Latin Hawks

If Providence Day was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Charlotte Christian last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Providence Day Chargers fell 3-1 to the Charlotte Latin Hawks on Wednesday. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 26-28, 25-12.

Alison Archibald was a one-man wrecking crew for Charlotte Latin as she had 16 digs. Archibald is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season.

Providence Day's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-11. As for Charlotte Latin, their victory bumped their record up to 17-5.
