Basketball Recap: Lawrence Comes Up Short

Lawrence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Seaford Vikings, falling 66-31. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Tornadoes of the 81-47 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Lawrence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Seaford, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lawrence will head out to challenge Island Trees at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seaford, they will challenge Wheatley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
