Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lake Highland Prep walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs on Tuesday as they made off with a 4-0 victory. The Highlanders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Cardinal Gibbons with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lael Hill (2), Lara Almeida, and Riley Bassin.

Lake Highland Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those nine games. Cardinal Gibbons moved to 13-6 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
