Softball Game Preview: Los Angeles Romans vs. West Adams Panthers

Los Angeles is 2-8 against West Adams since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Romans will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. The last five games Los Angeles has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Los Angeles played against Jefferson on Wednesday and lost via forfeit.

West Adams came into this matchup off a tough 22-run loss on Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Dr. Maya Angelou Community by a score of 8-6 on Friday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Los Angeles' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for West Adams, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Los Angeles might still be hurting after the 15-6 defeat they got from West Adams in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Romans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
