Nova came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.4 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They never let the McArthur Mustangs onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. Even though the Titans got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Madison Francis was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Julia Moore was the driving force of Nova's attack as she scored both of Nova's goals, bringing her season total up to five goals.

Nova pushed their record up to 6-6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for McArthur, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10-2.

Nova will head out on the road to challenge Pompano Beach at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McArthur, they will be playing at home against Hollywood Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
