Basketball Game Preview: Asheville Cougars vs. Madison Patriots

The Asheville Cougars will take on the Madison Patriots at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Asheville is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Asheville came up short against North Buncombe and fell 56-43.

The losing side was boosted by Hayziah Dillingham, who went 6 for 14 en route to 15 points in addition to six boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hennie Calloway, who posted nine points and five steals.

Meanwhile, Madison was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 48-43 to Mitchell.

Asheville's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Madison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
