Basketball Recap: Youngker Comes Up Short

Youngker lost against Paradise Valley back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Youngker Roughriders were outmatched by the Paradise Valley Trojans and fell 80-37. While losing is never fun, the Roughriders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Trojans are ranked 116th).

Despite the loss, Youngker still got an impressive performance from Hayden Williams, who posted 11 points. Ares Chambers was another key player, putting up seven points.

Youngker's record is now 6-15. As for Paradise Valley, their record now sits at 16-10.

As of now, neither Youngker nor Paradise Valley have any future games scheduled.
