French Camp Academy's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They skirted past the Winona Tigers 11-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

The team relied heavily on Riley Arrowood, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Rowan Baxter, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

French Camp Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Winona, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Looking ahead, French Camp Academy will head out to challenge Vardaman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winona, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers take on the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
