Baseball Recap: Timber Creek Regional Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Timber Creek Regional won the last time they faced Clearview and things went their way on Monday too. The Chargers skirted past the Pioneers 4-3. The win was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Anthony Hedenberg looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Timber Creek Regional is 3-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 6-8 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Timber Creek Regional saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Traynor, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Another was Colin Keehn, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

The victory got Timber Creek Regional back to even at 9-9. As for Clearview, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Timber Creek Regional will welcome Highland Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clearview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington Township at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
