Basketball Recap: IDEA Sports Park Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the IDEA Sports Park Stingrays came up short against the Raymondville Bearkats and fell 53-43.

Raymondville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Colt Cavazos, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 boards. Cavazos is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Slevin Gutierrez was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

IDEA Sports Park's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Raymondville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.

IDEA Sports Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 29-23 victory against IDEA Riverview on the 10th. As for Raymondville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-46 win against IDEA Robindale on the 10th.
