Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lecanto). They blew past the Lyman Greyhounds, posting a 50-6 win. Considering the Panthers have won four matchups by more than 41 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jt Tipton produced another solid effort throwing for 199 yards and four TDs while completing 86.7% of his passes, and also punching in one touchdown on the ground. His passing game has become a key predictor of Lecanto's success: the team is 4-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Braylen Moore was Tipton's top target, picking up 78 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Lecanto has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.2 points on average over those games. As for Lyman, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Lecanto and Lyman will both be playing Leesburg the next time they take the field. The Greyhounds will host the Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
