Football Recap: Plum Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Plum was the 24-7 winner over Shaler Area when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 27-20 to the Titans on Friday.

When it comes to explaining why Plum lost, don't look at Cj Hart. Despite the final result, he rushed for 130 yards and two TDs on only 13 carries. Hart's longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. John Nonnenberg also helped out by tossing the rock for 267 yards.

Plum's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Shaler Area, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plum will head out to square off against Pine-Richland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Shaler Area, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Woodland Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
