Community Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matches by 20 points or more this season.
Community Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but David Blackburn led the charge by scoring 15 points along with 5 steals. Blackburn has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Price Horton was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 8 assists and 6 rebounds.
Community Christian has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 8-1 record. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40.67 points. As for Grayson Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Community Christian has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Fellowship Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Fellowship Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1302nd, while Community Christian is ranked 396th). Grayson Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Trinity Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 11, 2024.
