Baseball Game Preview: Sky View Bobcats vs. Bear River Bears

Sky View is 1-9 against Bear River since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bobcats will be playing at home against the Bears at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Sky View and Logan, and Logan kept the tradition alive. The Bobcats fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 5-4 on Monday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Bear River was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against West Field, falling 12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bears have suffered since March 19th.

Bear River saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kolten Summers, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was Summers' first of the season.

Sky View's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Bear River, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Sky View might still be hurting after the 8-1 loss they got from Bear River when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
