Softball Recap: Farmington Takes a Loss

Brighton hit Farmington with a six-run second inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 12-11. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 7-3.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 21-6-1. As for Brighton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-21-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farmington will venture away from home to face off against Churchill at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brighton, they will head out to take on Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
