Baseball Game Preview: Herscher Tigers vs. Manteno Panthers

For the second straight game, Herscher will face off against Manteno. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Herscher is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

On Monday, Herscher needed a bit of extra time to put away Manteno. They walked away with an 11-6 win over the Panthers. Herscher's victory was all the more impressive since the Panthers were averaging only 3.9 runs allowed on the season.

The team relied heavily on Payten Young, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nash Brubaker, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
