Baseball Game Preview: Richmond Oilers vs. Vallejo Redhawks

For the second straight game, Richmond will face off against Vallejo. Richmond will head out to square off against Vallejo at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Richmond has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 26.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Richmond's offense. They lost 15-0 to Vallejo on Wednesday.

For Vallejo's part, they got a massive performance out of David Bernstine III, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave Bernstine III a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kamil Cassius, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

Vallejo's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3. As for Richmond, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
