South Anchorage picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Damonte Ranch Mustangs by a score of 59-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Drew Dodson, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 17 points. Dodson is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. Kin Vong was another key player, putting up 14 points and three steals.

South Anchorage's record is now 2-4. As for Damonte Ranch, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

South Anchorage will welcome Chugiak at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Damonte Ranch and Basic will round out the year against one another at at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Damonte Ranch is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.1 points per game this season.
