Softball Recap: Dierks Comes Up Short

Dierks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-4 to the Mineral Springs Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-6 back in March.

Dierks' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mineral Springs, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Dierks and Mineral Springs will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Outlaws are set to face off against their familiar foe Foreman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mineral Springs will challenge rival Mount Ida at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
