Suggested Video

After three games on the road, San Antonio Memorial is heading back home. They will host the King Brahmas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

San Antonio Memorial will head into Friday's matchup ready to turn things around: they lost a close one when they played back in September but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed two weeks ago was a bit more commanding. They came up short against Blanco, falling 40-14.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask King). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Valley View 56-0 at home. Considering the Brahmas have won four games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Dylon Everett was his usual excellent self, throwing for 287 yards and four touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 75 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. Another player making a difference was Damarius Montgomery, who rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to King's defense and their 10.5 sacks. Seth Coleman led the group effort, picking up 3.5 of those sacks all by himself. Jacob Rivera is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made seven or more in the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, King was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 241 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 241 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.

San Antonio Memorial's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5. As for King, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
