North Branford won the last time they faced East Hampton and things went their way on Monday too. The Thunderbirds walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Bellringers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunderbirds.

Adrienne Frost made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Gabriella Bigio was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Adriana Hills, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

North Branford wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 13-1 win against Cromwell on the 19th. As for East Hampton, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-4 victory against Westbrook on the 20th.
