Lane Conway's Big Game Leads Silver Lake over Meridian

Starting off the list is Silver Lake's Lane Conway, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Conway rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Those 117 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

On the year, Conway has averaged 42.8 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to seven.

This year, Tenbensel has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 69.3 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns.

Red Cloud picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Hunter Englehart. Nobody could stop Englehart as he rushed for 87 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries.

Red Cloud pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Englehart's next contest is against Pawnee City on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Red Cloud Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Connor Rust

Red Cloud picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Connor Rust. Rust did his part (and then some), rushing for 77 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 52 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 54 yards.

On the year, Rust has thrown those 1 touchdown while averaging 15.1 passing yards per game.

Brexten Kobza's Rushing Yards a New Career-High

Brexten Kobza posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Harvard is on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Kobza and Harvard will venture away from home to face off against Silver Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
