It was a good run, but Johnson Creek unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks by a score of 10-9.

Lainey Benz was cooking despite her team's loss, going 4-for-5 with three doubles, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Libby Burbach, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Johnson Creek's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Fort Atkinson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnson Creek will square off against Deerfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Atkinson, they will take on DeForest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
