Volleyball Recap: Rush-Henrietta Takes a Loss

Rush-Henrietta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Irondequoit Eagles. The Royal Comets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-21, 25-13.

Rush-Henrietta's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Irondequoit, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-1-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rush-Henrietta will take on Penfield at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Irondequoit, they will face off against Churchville-Chili at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
