Jonesville posted their closest victory since September 4th on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Hillsdale Hornets 2-1. This was payback for the Comets, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Morgan Wood paced Jonesville's offense, picking up 16 kills. Wood got some help from Olivia Babcock and her 28 assists. Jayda Rathbun controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Jonesville's win bumped their record up to 8-10-1. As for Hillsdale, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

After both having extra time off, Jonesville and Addison will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Hillsdale, they will face off against Clinton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
