Riverview came tearing into Thursday's match with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.1 points), and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 33-30 win over the Crestwood Chargers. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Riverview pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Crestwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

Coincidentally, Riverview and Crestwood will both be playing Tournament Opponent the next time they take the court. Crestwood will head out to face Tournament Opponent on Monday, while Riverview will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
