Volleyball Recap: Paulding Panthers vs. Lincolnview Lancers

Paulding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell just short of the Lincolnview Lancers by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2020.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Paulding sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 23-25, 27-25, 25-27, 16-14.

Allie Miller was a one-man wrecking crew for Lincolnview as she had 30 digs. Miller is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Makynlee Dickinson, who had 12 digs and 22 assists.

Paulding's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Lincolnview, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

Paulding didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Delta on the 23rd. Lincolnview has also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Spencerville on the 24th.
