Softball Recap: Addison Trail Drops Season-High Score on Proviso East

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Addison Trail). They put the hurt on the Proviso East Pirates with a sharp 17-1 victory on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Blazers, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Addison Trail pushed their record up to 15-11 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Proviso East, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
