Saginaw Valley - South recap September 24, 2013

Carman-Ainsworth took down Robichaud 40-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jevonte Alexander threw for 87 yards and ran for 30 yards in the win.

Davison made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,945 from 5,679. The advance stemmed from a 34-6 victory over Flushing last week.

The Cavaliers' dynamic duo of Alexander and Brandon Walker proved to be unstoppable against the Bulldogs, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Carman-Ainsworth's dynamic duo of Alexander and Walker proved tough for Robichaud to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Walker was the best wideout in Saginaw Valley - South this week as Nathaniel Williams' team topped Keith Stephens' team. Walker tallied 4 receptions for 87 yards.

Alexander put up the best numbers in passing as the Cavaliers bested the Bulldogs.

John Anthony Fulgham was a passing and rushing force as Flint Southwestern Academy beat Northwestern. Fulgham's favorite target this week was Trayvon Nickerson, who caught 2 passes for 17 yards.

Fulgham was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 138 yards on 12 carries as the Knights topped Robichaud. Teammate Daniel Walker added to the ground attack by rushing for 56 yards.

On the heels of Walker and Fulgham, Flint Southwestern Academy has had great success on offense. Walker is tops in the league in passing with 387 yards, while Fulgham has rushed for 267 yards this season. The Cavaliers' Walker leads the league in receiving yards with 163 on 9 catches.

At the moment, the Raiders are in third, while Carman-Ainsworth is in first.
