Soccer Recap: Granger Comes Up Short at Home Against Juan Diego Catholic

Granger unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Granger couldn't quite close it out.

Looking ahead, Granger will head out to square off against Salt Lake Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Juan Diego Catholic, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Union at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
