The Dripping Springs Tigers will square off against the Bowie Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dripping Springs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
On Tuesday, Dripping Springs got the win against Austin by a conclusive 11-1. Considering the Tigers have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Sadie Bradford made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Bradford was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lorelei Gamble, who fired off three home runs and eight RBI while going 3-for-3. Those eight RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emma Phillips, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Dripping Springs hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three strikeouts batters in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Bowie has relied on a stalwart pitcher averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They fell 13-8 to Del Valle. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Cadie Hays and Josie Busceme stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hays went 1-for-4 with one home run, while Busceme scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Nungaray, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Bowie's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Dripping Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6-1 record this season.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Dripping Springs hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .338. However, it's not like Bowie struggles in that department as they've averaged .366. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
