Baseball Recap: Sutter Starts off Right with Win over Colfax

Sutter took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Colfax Falcons. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Aiden Zwissig looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit over four innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Landyn Singh, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Brady Wickum, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Colfax fell to 2-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sutter will welcome Linden at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Colfax, they will host Chowchilla at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
