Soccer Game Preview: Colonie Central vs. Guilderland

The Colonie Central Wolfpack are taking a road trip to challenge the Guilderland Flying Dutchmen at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Colonie Central is headed into the contest having not lost since September 18 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Ballston Spa finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Wednesday.

Lilly Palmer and Natalie Mastropietro scored both of Colonie Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Guilderland sidestepped Ballston Spa for a 2-1 win.

With that draw, Colonie Central's record moves to 4-4-2. As for Guilderland, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4-3.

Colonie Central suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Guilderland in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Wolfpack avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
